I was born and raised right here in Northome located in beautiful Northern Minnesota. Northome is located near the small hometown communities of Mizpah, Gemmell, Kelliher, Blackduck, Margie and Big Falls Minnesota.
I have served my community in many ways including the Northome City Council, owned my own businesses here, done a number of benefits, and many hours of volunteer work. I was also the Northome City administrator. I feel very blessed to be part of such a wonderful caring community. I have much knowledge of what makes our area so unique and welcoming. I would be very happy to share that with you.
I enjoy big game and small game hunting to include grouse, preparing for deer hunting season, the occasional coyote hunt, camping and riding my atv. Of course, we can’t leave out fishing for the Wiley walleye. I have fished Red Lake, Lake of the Woods, Dark Lake, Clear Lake, Moose Lake and many more. Did you know our area has more miles of groomed snowmobile and recreation trails then highways?
I also love music! I have volunteered many hours over the past several years working to bring one of our local music festivals to you.
